Eurocodes Reform discussed in Batumi

The seminars about Eurocodes are still taking place all around Georgia. The informational meetings are supported by ELEMENT HOLDING “Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association” and the USAID Economic Governance Program.

This time the meeting was arranged in Batumi. The seminar was held by the experts in the field. The experts engaged in an active discussion with the representatives of the construction sector after the seminar.

The information discussed during the seminars will help the people working in the construction sector, including the representatives of the construction companies, as well as the employees in the relevant field, to process construction services according to the new standards based on the Eurocodes reform.

“It’s important to us as a supporter organization of the construction field, to evaluate whether or not the sector is ready for the new reform and how they will turn the standard into practice. This kind of meeting plays a vital role throughout this process because the people attending the meetings include our target audience”, – says Ana Sabakhtarishvili, the executive director of the “Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association”.
